Case No. 18-1353

State of Iowa
v.
Juan Daniel Salcedo

Juan Salcedo appeals from the denial of his motion to suppress evidence discovered as a result of a traffic stop. Salcedo argues: (1) there was no probable cause to stop his vehicle, (2) Iowa Code section 321.297 is void for vagueness and violates his due process rights, (3) law enforcement illegally detained him for a prolonged period of time without attempting to complete the purpose of the stop and without reasonable suspicion, and (4) his consent to search was not voluntarily given.
