Magistrate Peter G. Gierut of Davenport, Iowa was appointed to serve Scott County in 2021. He earned his undergraduate degree from The University of Iowa in 2007 and his law degree from Drake University in 2010. He has been in private practice in Scott County, Iowa since 2011. Magistrate Gierut is a member of the Scott County Bar Association, the Rock Island County Bar Association, and the Iowa Bar Association. He is married with three children.
