Magistrate Wicks was appointed to serve Woodbury County in 2023. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from University of Nebraska – Omaha in 2004 and her law degree from Washburn School of Law in 2011. Magistrate Wicks worked in the Woodbury County Attorney’s Office as Assistant County Attorney, from 2022 to 2023, the Dakota County Attorney’s Office as Deputy County Attorney from 2015 to 2022, Dakota Public Defender’s Office as Dakota Public Defender in 2015, and in the Dakota County Attorney’s Office as Deputy County Attorney from 2012 to 2015.
